Ooty was originally know as Ootacamund which is now obscure. Ooty is situated in the Nilgiri hills, also known as The Blue Mountains. It is unknown whether this name comes from the blue smoky haze given off by the eucalyputus trees that cover the area, or because of the kurunji flower, which blooms every twelve years giving the slopes a bluish tinge. Ooty served as the summer capital of the Madras Presidency and other small kingdoms, much visited by British during the colonial days,and as today, a popular summer and weekend resort.

On arrival at Coimbatore airport, meet our representative and proceed to Ooty.Upon arrival in Ooty, check into the hotel and spend some time at leisure. You may go to visit the local market in the evening (on your own) Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit Doddabetta peak, Botanical Garden. Later, visit Charing Cross - a local market. Enjoy local food / cuisine at a good restaurant (personal expense). After shopping , visit Tea Museum and enjoy boating at the Ooty Lake.In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel by 9am and drive to Coonoor (one can opt to go to Coonoor by the famous toy train. The train tickets can be purchased directly 1 hour prior to the journey and our vehicle will wait at the Conoor Railway Station). After the train journey, visit the Sim’s park, Lamb’s Rock, and Dolphin’s Nose. Drive to Kodaikanal. Upon arrival in Kodaikanal, check into the hotel and spend some time at leisure. You may go to visit the local market in the evening (on your own). Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal. Visit Pine Forest and Green valley view point. This place provides the view of the abundant scenic beauty of Kodaikanal . Later, visit Pillar Rock - an impressive creation of nature and Coaker's Walk. In the evening, enjoy boating on the Kodai Lake.In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Munnar, a beautiful hill station. Upon arrival in Munnar, check into the hotel and spend some time at leisure. You may go to visit the local market in the evening (on your own) and buy aromatic tea from the shops here. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations) (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park to get a view of variety of flaura and fauna. Later in the afternoon visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as Echo Point which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon’.In the evening return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Munnar and drive to Cochin. Catch your flight for your onward destination
