If you are a nature lover, you won't be able to resist admiring the beauty of this stunning land. Interact with the locals to know more about the culture, life and traditions of people living here. Enjoy a jeep safari ride to Kaziranga National Park and visit Cherrapunji, Umiam Lake and Kamakhya temple. Sample local delicacies and revel in its divine aromas.
Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport/Station and drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Later return back to Shillong. Evening visit Local markets. Overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in at hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Early morning go for Elephant ride@ 5AM.Return for Breakfast Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.
After Breakfast drive to Nameri. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight at Nameri. Nameri National Park: Covering an area of 200sq.kms, it is situated in the District of Sonitpur; the Nameri is the third National Park of Assam. It is a Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The inaccessibility and continuity with the neibouring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. There is a good prey base in the form of Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and Gaur. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for Tiger and Leopards.
Today early morning at about 05.30 a.m, we set to explore the park on foot (3.2kms), after the trek back to the camp. After having breakfast go for an exclusive rafting (mild rapids) trip on Jia – Bhoreli River, flowing along the National Park, for water birds. Return back to the camp. Overnight stay at camp.
After Breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati. Check in at Hotel. Later visit Kamakhya Temple, Sankardev Kalakhetra. Overnight at Guwahati.
After Breakfast drive to Guwahati Airport /Station. Tour Ends Here With Sweet Memories.
