Popularly known as the Queen of Hills, Darjeeling is located in the Shivalik hills of the lower range of the Himalayas. Like most other hill stations in India, the British developed Darjeeling as a respite from the summer heat in the plains. The British loved the town for the complete rejuvenation package that it offered - serene atmosphere, view of the snowline, scented pines and a golden colored brew called the Darjeeling tea. The place has since become a pilgrimage of sorts for tea connoisseurs. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is the town's other claim to global fame. Connecting the town with the plains, it was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999 and is one of the few steam engines still in service in India. Darjeeling also has several British-style public schools, hotels and houses that are very old and declared as heritage buildings.

Early Morning at 04 AM visit Tiger Hill ,famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points ,covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view),Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway ( operational, rope way ride charges to be paid by guest directly ) .Overnight stay Darjeeling.
After breakfast proceed for day excursion trip to MIRIK, a small picturesque hill station at 5100ft (1761m) with a beautiful lake sur-rounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga. The drive to Mirik runs through some mesmerizing tea gardens and pine forests. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake, (boating payment direct). On the way back to Darjeeling return via PASHUPATI MARKET in Nepal India border (need extra vehicle to enter into the market by direct payment). Return to Darjeeling in the afternoon and have free evening. Overnight stay Darjeeling.
After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
